Vehicle Warfare is BACK! 5 minute tank spawns! but....

So with the re-release of the new Hotfix, I am totally excited again about the .9 possibilities.

Thank you Devs for making the much-needed change!

But why aren't servers running the mode now? I think some servers haven't even installed the hotfix. I was just at the Chicago Hardcore Tank only server (totally empty btw) and the tanks did NOT spawn in 5 minutes.

Why are people afraid of the mode? Come one guys, lets give it try!

i think ppl are still put off by the 20 min spawn tanks used to have. on pubs this just means ppl will end up at the base TKing.

also, the lack of infantry is a good reason for passionate ground pounders like me not to play VW. although when i played the old version of VW on yamalia it was big fun!

20 min sapwn time doe sno longer exsist the problem is that i don't think enough people read the forums

i know . i wasn't clear i guess . what i meant was that ppl probably don't know about the shorter spawntimes yet.

I knowz! Server admins are still "people"..
Anyway, I tried Thor's Brigade VW serv (Only me there) and it took 5 mins for the tanks to spawn
Maybe maybe maybe u could use the news ticker to announce that now it takes 5 mins for tanks to spawn in VW?

It could just be a case of the Vehicle Warfare mode not being as popular as the Devs hoped/wanted ?.

If its a the server rotation sure people will play it, but I have been getting very mixed feedback from players as to the enjoyment factor of playing it.
Same with CNC to be honest.

They aren't modes that work with low numbers, thats for sure.....
But at peak times , now that they are working as was intended they could be fun.
We removed the modes from the rotation due to the hotfix 1 issue, but are putting them back in and asking for feedback from our players as to whether we keep them in the rotation or not, now that we are running the HF 2..

when i played vehicle warfare the other day with the hotfix about 20 people dropped out immediately. I dont think its a fan favorite other then a select few.

Personally, i dislike it. im not a tank vs. tank person. I think its too bland as well. i like having a mix of infantry and vehicles and helicopters and all that good stuff.
