The game-mode is decent, all that is needed is a shorter re-spawn on tanks, nothing is perfect first time around.

Thou art right, I thinkith that if spawn times for tanks were faster
Thou's problems would be solved and we shall game a good game K screw the Shakespear talk What I meant to say is, since the problem was that the spawns take too long, why not make them shorter? I mean, look at 1942, there are definitely epic tank battles in maps (forgot the name of teh map, but there were like... 20 tanks) worked out fine, in fact, one of the most played (back then) But.. would it work on PR? o.o |

Have the tanks spawn point have a max of 1 spawned at any given time, make the respawn 5 minutes. This would give time for people to regroup and get to their tanks spawn.
5 minute wait, people aren't sitting at main and over all just leaving the server. The rate of destruction of heavy assets will create a ticket bleed that will determine the game. I understand some of you like the fact that the tanks don't respawn but guess what, its appearent the majority of PR players do not. Its a server killer and in general puts people off of the mod/game in general. Edit do any of you to remember that tank map back in Desert Combat. Those tanks spawned in like 2 minutes and it was a blast. |

^ people would not wait in line and it would be a lottery as to who got the tank first, it would not be a fair system.

The DEVs are actively looking at this with a wide possibility of changes to be tested. But as usual this isn't going to happen overnight, tho server side only changes should help this. So keep constructive criticism in and attitudes out. Thank you. |

Don't forget the three-release rule! It generally takes three public releases for any new feature to become properly tweaked and improved (and the players used to it) sufficiently for it to really shine through. This is VW's first release, and it *will* be worked on still.
