Lasers in Iraq?
I use StumbeUpon and this hit got my attention. Watch this crazy video
of a speculated weapon that the US is now using in Iraq. It's a pretty crazy piece of hardware. It's pretty long and the beginning is boring, things get good at around 9.30 |

Well they have admited to having lasers mounted on hummers, how powerful they are im not sure, they say they use it to destory mines and whatnot, if it can destory mines and other ammo, in other words metal objects..
Why use it instead of bullets though im not sure, it must cost afair bit to run but it does have the stealth factor i guess.. |

Well, I read somewhere about a microwave weapons to be mounted on hummers for riot control pruposes (it heats the air and makes it uncofortable for anyone, even painful if they stay long enough).

Oh, and that part at the end is just so typical anti-anything US. The guy says in reality we'd be using these on pregnant women and old people. Right..... lets just stick to shooting teargas and rubber bullets at pregnant women and old people!!
