I looks like a cruise ship. Or at least like the pool of a cruise ship. Are those poles on the right showers?

riot protection, they send strykers to quiel roits? its a bit over kill,

if i was a hippy id be split between useing the cage to climb on it and pretend to surf it,

or use the cage to tie banners on and hope the ironey of peace banners on a tank will cause it to break down.

more preciseley, its a cage against rpg rounds. the roungs are to thick to go through the wholes in the cage and get stuck - i dont know if they blow up at all, but as far as i heard its pretty effective - same idea has been already used, i think on a pretty old tank too, where it was more or less "secret".
i once had a picture of a crewman standing near a stryker with such a cage, and an rpg warhead stuck in it, without blowing up

Actually it's not "bling". It's something that works. which is why you see slat armor being applied to a variety of vehicles now.

Slat armor has stopped hundreds of RPG strikes. I wouldn't go into Iraq without it.

It was also effective in causing SVBIED blasts from doing much damage. For the most part, suicide car bombs would take off axels, wheels, and the cage and the armor underneath.

So it IS functional. And I myself can vouch for it.
