It would seem that there is going to be an update to the venerable SIG 550/551 series of weapon by the addition of a rail mount system. See the below image:

It would also seem to be firing from an AK-47 magazine but no confirmation of the caliber being 7.62x39mm Soviet.

I guess they figured they could do better than KAC's SR-47 rifle. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make a couple models in 6.8mm SPC to compete with Barrets M468 and similar designs. SOCOM's got a lot of money and political backing to warrant testing of new weapons.
