Default M1128 MGS + M900 APFSDS AutoCAD drawing

For my AutoCAD class in high-school I decided to draw the M1128 Mobile Gun System (A stryker varient). I know its out of scale, but I couldn't find a lot of the dimensions. I would just like to get people's opinions on it as I spent a lot of time drawing this. I also drew out the M900 105mm APFSDS shell.

Also, please only constructive criticism.

Doesn't look bad. Now you have to whip it up in 3D.

Wish I'd been able to take an AutoCAD class in high school. It's good prep if you're going into engineering, although you will probably never use AutoCAD ever again. Try to get your hands on a copy of Inventor, SolidWorks, or ProEngineer and play around in it if you can. Those three, plus CATIA, probably have the entire engineering design market. CATIA is pretty tough to figure out by yourself, although it's certainly possible.

Ahem!

An opinion from a professional drafter!

Great job! This displays your skill in managing 2D shapes to make a picture! (good for you!)

Now, move to 3D. You can do 3D in AutoCAD, but I'd recommend using Solidworks or ProE for 3D.

Seriously, great job on the pic but even though its useless, its a great excercise.

Yeah, puff, I know its useless ^_^, but it was fun to draw. In my class we're also using an outdated version of AutoCAD so, haha. Also, how much do the Solidworks and ProE cost?

You can get a student version of Inventor if you're a college student, don't know about high school.

I think Solidworks has a cheap student price, $70 a year or something? Don't know about ProEngineer.

yeah it looks pretty good, but usually in a 3 view drawing everything is to scale (i spent 2 years as an aerospace engineering major in college and i've done a LOT of 3 views). so my only critique is that if you want to do a real 3 view of the stryker, do the right side, the top, and the front. you can do a seperate 3 view for the actual round itself, i mean if you're bored.

also, what exactly is your sig supposed to be? i like it

@Spartan
I wasn't aiming for scale, and my teacher didn't care. I'm upset that our plotter is broken, so I can't get the full size print out, only one on 8 1/2 x 11 in paper
Also, my sig is just a random gun I made up on pimpmygun, I can't remember the address but, follow this link: Let me google that for you (note, I'm not meaning any sarcasm, just laziness for myself haha)
