Kyle Lamb test Troy industries M14
YouTube - Troy Industries M14 Modular Chassis System (MCS) Long I Find this quiet interesting and i think it might be even better than the M14 EBR system.

adding 1 pound to an already heavy rifle isn't that "only", is it?
maybe they should have made so it had rail segments you can mount when you need them, to save in on weight (thinking about larue and their light solutions for one). but i guess accuracy and low weight are an expensive combo. |

Pound for pound, soldiers will carry the best weapon they can get their hands on. 7.62 has more than proven it's worth already -- notice that it (and other larger rounds) are chosen for most marksmen/sniper weapons in use today.

The weight will be great for a SDM level weapon, get fast follow up, and good power.

I don't see what this offers over other chassis such as VLTOR or Sage.

He stated that the extra weight is about equal to the weight of side mount so it essentially weighs the same.
I wonder if this one has any issues. I know Troy made the SOPMOD M14 but had some reliability problems due to the gas block or something being rotated 45 degrees. |

The version with the A2 stock looks sweet. M1A + this = expensive.
