Didn't the Germans have a car during WW2 that was supposed to be easily converted into a tank?
Can't find a thing on it now, but unfortunately I'm not at home with all of my books. |

There were several attempts at a tracked/halftrack Kubelwagen, dunno about any others.

Perhaps that's what it was. I mean, the Kubelwagen was pretty ubiquitous, so it makes sense, and I think it was a VW.
I'll have to check this when I go home in two weeks. |
