Who is your favorite military other than your own?

Probably Hamas, because anyone who tries to fight the IDF is either exceedingly brave or very, very stupid. Also not least for the shear manliness of going into battle wearing bloody great green bandannas...

Also the Russians, they always had some sleek military going on.

The americans for me as i have nothing but respect for them ( and other military's of course) and i like their firepower and weapons etc.

Soft spot for the British. Ever since I bought a pair of their camo for "night tag" when I was little, to when I unlocked Nigel Tunney for Ghost Recon original. I love the SA80 series, though maybe its best I never have to use it because you hear mixed messages about it in real life

See, I think you're on the right track, but I would have to go with Hezbollah over Hamas (all political and religious ideology aside, of course).

Hezbollah is probably the best guerrilla fighting force around. Say what you will about their katyusha rockets, the fact is that they halted columns of Merkava tanks and generally thwarted Israels efforts in Southern Lebanon. You'd think the militaries of the world would have looked at that war and taken notes on the likely evolution of modern combat, but no, they seem to require multiple iterations of the same lesson before considering change.

Would have to be our Finnish brothers. Bad-ass in ww2, and currently handling their military way better than us. While the Swedish government is busy removing conscription and cutting the military budget to nothing, Finland is still going strong(from what I can tell ofc).

Germans are pretty kewl as well. And the US has some nice stuff.

Good grief, I completely forgot about that old chappy! Spiffing lad, I do say. Wasn't he a demo expert? Had my man Dieter Munz on the MG3, laying it down for old Tunney. A few good times, an entire childhood wasted
Shame about the sequal, with the fail voice-command. It wouldnt do a thing I said unless I spoke in an American accent, with the drawn out vowels and the botched consonants
Not to mention I played half way through and noticed they resued the origonal maps, but reskinned them.


Lets not forget the Bundeswehr. Anyone who still rolls into battle rockin' an MG42 (MG3) is badass in my eyes. Quite like their helmet too, allot like the gulf war era helmet of US forces.


And again, the USMC has that big-ol', ugly, heaving AAVP7A1. Nose like a gater, ribs like a whale, backoff like a hippo. Its like a circus freak, dual wielding heavy support weapons. Very Chuck Norris. Im also yet to see a video of US Marines not shouting profanities as they take or dish out the pain.
