US Military, then a close second would be the IDF.

Pakistani Army, having a war on two fronts (on their Indian and Afghan borders) means generally they are hardened to the bone.

IDF. One of the most effective fighting forces on the planet, even though it's numbers are primarily made up of reservists. The top pilots in the world, great equipment, and all proven in some of the toughest combat in the world.
Also, their repeated defeat of multiple Arab nations, even though greatly outnumbered, is the most defining military history since WW II imo. |

I gotta go with the Brits. Besides being our closest ally, they have top notch capabilities in not just their army, but their air force and navy as well. Not many militaries are built to fight anywhere they are needed, most are simply for defending their borders. The UK military is one of the few left that can truely project power.

I'd say USMC but I am sold out anyhow - I spent a few days with a gang of them training here.
When they were unloading the trucks I saw one sergeant or corporal standing in the side with his friend bickering about the fact that people of his rank have to unload trucks, his commander was on a small "hill" and started shouting at them and they remained quiet the whole time and went to unload the trucks..I was like..wohaa..its a real army..in the IDF after your initial training if you get shouted by your commanders you generally shout back and argue with them however everyone including the officers load and unload the trucks here |

Canadians and British, I got to work with both on multiple occasions. I was very impressed with both and we all got along very well and had a good time talking.
