I cant really see that well but what I am understanding now every russian soldier has body armor but by the looks of it the body armor is only for pistol and fragmentation not for rifle rounds. So am I right? The armor they have now does not include ballistic plates for the most part. There is Russian ballistic armor for rifle rounds but for the average infantry man they dont get it?

light version(4-4,5kg) is designed to withstand PM, TT bullets, heavy(7-8kg) -AKM from 50m, SVD bullet - 100m in hardened areas and pistol bullets from 5m on other areas

Its weird how the drawing and the picture both have the turrent facing the same way and the vehicle in almost the same angle to the camera.

well on the back you can see ДШР, which stands for air-assault company, i cant exactly remember, were they hardened with motorifle unit or BMP-2 and BTR were their own like BMD-1 and BMD-2
