I'd imagine that the NTW-20 was the inspiration rifle for the the halo sniper rifle. Especially since it has a variant that fires a 14.5mm cartridge, same as the halo one. On topic, favorite sniper rifles are the Scout for looks; sleek lines and the bolt is the smoothest I've ever used. Remington 700 for pure sniper awesomeness.

Whats the barrel width of a Remington 700 or M40? As in not the bore (7.62) but the actual width of the barrel on the outside? If you know any other dimensions of the M40 plz tell me.

Back on topic, what about your favorite "classic" rifle, as in WW2 or has a wood stock. Ive always liked the Enfield and K98.

Just to all the people who say the NTW-20 resembles the Halo sniper...go take another look. The only things that are similar/the same is the (carrying?) handle right before the barrel and whatever that thing sticking out under the barrel is. It could have been the NTW-20...but honestly I think they just put quite a few different guns together.
