Would any fighter jet use it's cannons on ground targets?

Sorry if this is not a place to ask questions or what not but I was wondering if in real life would an F-15 or any other similar fighter jet would use its cannon on ground targets such as a truck or maybe APC?

theres a picture posted somewhere on here of a truck that had been hit by a F-16 cannon by mistake on a training exercise , so if they train for it i assume so.

I don't see why not. If their targetting/tracking systems are good enough to go after other jets, using it against light vehicles/infantry sounds logical. Besides, it appears to be the A-10s primary weapon, so it would be a bit like that, just less overpowered

I'll try to find it but there was a video of UK or US fighting a mountain position against some Taliban and a F-15 after not being able to drop its ordinance switched to canons and strafed the target. Now that wasent a truck or a APC but I would guess its an option. And seeing as 20mm rounds are used for vehicles

Can someone explain how exactly a moving airplane can hit a moving target so accurately with a fixed turret that is guided only by the movement of the jet?

im sure fighter jets can still use their cannons for strafing runs if they so choose. maybe they already dropped their bombs, or the target is more suitable for cannon fire. but they still put cannons on jets, and im sure they train them how to strafe so its a safe bet on occasion they still do.
