New toys from Russia, with love
It may not be big news that Russia is manufacturing tanks, fighter planes and missile launchers... But this time they are filled with air.
Video in russian: Ïåðâûé êàíàë. Âèäåî The idea is to make job harder for enemy intelligence, as these fake vehicles can produce a heat signature and are hard to spot fake from long distances. I dont know about you, but I'd order few to my back yard!  ( Without any extra russians )

I think the "dummies" was used in WWII, but I think the heat signature is something new

The British Army own these too and have done since WWII, they where used on Op Granby a lot, during the deception plan
We use them also on exercise for Recce and Tgt ID etc  . |
