Whats more Common in ME? BMP1 or BMP3? - Page 2

Ok, looking at the details from the wiki that CareBear put up graciously, it seems that the BMP1 is more common out in the ME than the BMP3 so why does the MEC have the 3 with the 3 different cannons?
Think we might need to re-examine the MEC arsenal.
Maybe if we do change out the BMP3 for the 1 we add the AT missile on top

That's not what I see in the wiki stats.
I also fail to find the "3rd cannon" on BMP3,do you mean the coax machine gun?
If anything needs re - examining it's the number of BTR-60's on the MEC side.
I have no problem with replacing these with BMP1 or 3. I don't
think we have a model for BMP1.

A better way to do it would just be to arm the BMP 3 with BMP 1 stuff and call it a BMP 1. They look almost the same

OT, Also about the BTR's sucking. They suck because you suck. I was in an APC squad and we stuck together like an APC squad should. We killed several inf, 3 LAVS, 3-4 trans hueys/LB, Attack huey, and a cobra.

How many times does it have to be said that the MEC arsenal is NOT DESIGNED TO REFLECT REAL MIDDLE EASTERN ARMAMENTS.

They are a fictional faction with a totally arbitrarily decided hardware range, in real life there are more M1A1s in the Middle east than t-72s but that does not make a difference to the game.

This is Project Reality in terms of gameplay, not in terms of geography.

But most likely the people with M1A1s are not our enemies. Thats the point.
Anyway when someone mentioned we dont have a BMP1 model that clears it up.

	The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
