Being a Brit i would have to go with the SA80 i've fired the SA80 A1 abit i used it alot when i was in the cadets on camps firing on the range and mock house clearances it only jammed a few times and that was because of wanna be rambos emptying full mags on fully automacit fire it was the cadets.

It looks better than the M16A2 more stylish, it can be fitted with a SUSAT sight unit its smaller and easy to use in confined spaces.

I have used the M16A2, and wasn't impressed. It's an effective weapon, and lighter than the L85A2, but there's just something "20 years old" about it. I can safely say NG don't know how to clean their weapons either...I would rather have an L85A2 in any combat action.
What's up with the A2? Hardly anyone ever uses the A2 anymore. Let's talk about the A4.

I've never had a problem with my M-4 in the desert during combat either. It's very reliable to me. The only problem is the ammunition we fire. It just sucks! Give me a 6.8 if anything!

I would rather have the SA80 LSW version. I fired the ISW an LSW and prefer the accuracy and bipod/handgrip on it. As for the M16 i aint fired it. But I did fire the canadian version of an M4 that the SBS use. It was alright...
