I definitely prefer the L85 when fitted with a susat sight. I always used to hate hindsights and foresights, they took too long to aim on people and obstructed vision. Now you raise the rifle to the point in your shoulder thats instinct, don't even have to close one eye and you see a zoomed up point where the enemy is and "bang!" you've spent about one second only stopping and aiming to get that first shot off.
Of course, if your target is moving, the round takes some time to get to target so lead in becomes interesting. The fact I can take aimed shots so much faster with the L85 whilst knowing more of what goes on round me makes it the clear winner. The 2 shot burst on full auto with a simple press of the trigger is gret, I can never get used that 3 round burst that seems so wasteful of ammo. Sure the L85 is heavier, but you're a man and can get used to the weight |
