If it's that important then they shouldn't have been letting people sit in the cockpit and let their pics get taken, then yell at me for taking a pic.

Isn't the USMC getting new AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms? They seem like decent upgrades.

Obviously haven't seen the latest test build for PR

Disclaimer: this is a joke, and no, in the next test build we do not get C17s with combat capabilities, if anyone thinks this, and suggests it, or for that matter suggests a C17 in PR, I will set Thermis on you. If you do not know who Thermis is, then that is the best thing that has happened in your life. Also I have no idea what's in the next test build, see first 4 words.

But that's beside the point. My guess as to why the Marines use different equipment is because they want to be different than the Army. Different uniforms, custom/traditions, etc.

Either that, or like Solid Knight said, because they are cheaper. AFAIK, the USMC doesn't get as much funding as the US Army. (But hey, I could be wrong

)

Oh well i still like both helicopters and they are still very useful, i am sure that eventually both will be replaced by black hawks and Apaches when companies stop fixing and producing cobras and hueys all though i may be wrong.
