Also, thier deck "footprint" is smaller. UH-60s and AH-64s are much bigger than the Huey or the Super Cobra, which is not really a problem for the army, but the marines have to think about how they're going to get thier helicopters onto thier boats.

To add to that, the Sea Knight is smaller than the Black Hawk(length mainly, width is marginal) and can carry a lot more troops, so size is a big factor for Marines(no sexual innuendos pleease

I wondered why they still use those old things too. I had a Marine jump down my throat at an airshow when I tried to snap a photo of a UH1's cockpit. The damn thing is twice as old as I am, not like it has classified information you can't find on Google...
