My opinion on these robot soldiers (SWORDS) is that it fails to take into account the need for human-human contact to encourage the locals into going on the USAs side in a war, or in Iraq. Good tool for select combat missions im sure, but i dont think well be seeing an army of robot soldiers anytime soon, if at all.

I mean, anyone remember that news report that said an iraqi women was attacked by a giant killer badger set loose by the British in Basra? Whats it going to be like when they set these things loose :P

There too. Stood out as a piece of uncommon sensible thinking by military procurement. Instead of designing a rediculously expensive controller to do the same thing, they used what was already cheap and out there.

Uses VBS2 (Virtual BattleSpace 2), which is to be used in Armed Assault 2 (ArmA 2).

Armed Assault, a game that is out now, uses Virtual BattleSpace 1, which the military used first. Bohemia seems to like to use Serious Game engines in common video games.

Try ArmA. Very good game. Fully destructible environments (not Bad Company style, remember this is an engine built years ago), perfect ballistics, movement, penetration, lighting (makes some of today's games look bad), environmental effects, weapons, all awesome.
