The thread about this in Political Discussion blew up because people couldnt keep their patriotic wieners in their pants.

I suggest we dont do the same here.

I only wanted to speak from the military side of the conflict not the political part of it

G.Drew, uncalled for. I'm going to take a risk here and allow this to stay open for a bit, but I -will- crack down with what Bush would describe as "unnecesary force" on anyone starting a politics discussion or anything I don't see as fitting this thread. I know that this might not seem fair, but I don't want to risk this going the same direction as the other thread.

This is my opinion and other moderators may disagree and want to lock it. If that happens, it happens.

Its kind of hard to talk about war without discussing the political aspects.

Im holding off comments on this one because it's very hard right now to get a good idea what has/is going on over there.

Just lock this up, it's only going to continue where the other left off.

Should have posted this in military technology.
Can someone explain what those squares on the T-80 are? some kind of armor?

Beautiful landscape, almost makes me want to visit there lol.

Also what jet is this? I know its not an F16 but looks a lot like it.
