@TII - They're 105mm because the US had a shed load of M60 Pattons that have been retired and they didn't think that it'd be a good idea to let the guns go to waste if they were going to build such a platform as the MGS.

Yeah, but the MGS has stronger armor, speed, and uses most of the same parts.

WRT the gun, yeah its the same armament as the M1 Abrams, which proved quite effective at knocking out most MBTs.

Really, I don't care for the Stryker at all, but I've never been in one or had to trust my life to one, so my opinion is kinda worthless.

Lolz, don't know the 'new' army to well do ya? Every division is getting 19K's it seems, hell I know a handful here in the 101st. Needless to say they were a weeeeeeeee little miffed about being stationed with a light cav scout unit, eheheheh.
