There were no "computer error" crashes of the Osprey. There was one incident where an uncommanded acceleration of one engine resulted in a bird on the ground start to take off then quickly drop back down and resulted in damage to the bird, but no deaths.

Considering that there have been 4 crashes of Osprey (last one was in 2000), that is carries a crew of 4 plus 19 Marines, only killing 30 is not that bad.
