How fast will in do 0-60 btw, should be fun to drive when no one is trying to kill you at least.
jackals a fire support vehicle, designed to do so from a distance, while humvees more a light troop carrier/armoured car... a snatch rover or mastiff/ridgeback is probably more comparable to a humvee than a jackal in terms of how they operate

Think of Jackel2 as a big-ass scary FAV. Only scarier.

i like the way a lot of the lighter vehicles are going, but only one of the MRAP vehicles holds any interest to me, i really cant say from personal experience why but i definitely seem to see more merit in the bushmaster/copperhead FoV's. i am really hanging out to see the hawkei get its orders too, i think this vehicle will be a real goer.

from what i have heard so far this one is getting a really good show with the local pollies.

Didn't think this would warrant a new thread but I just read
DSEi 2009 - More fire from British Army Warrior

I couldn't find much on this 'upgrade', is it something projected for the distant future or have people just not been making a fuss about it? Also I hadn't realised current Warriors were fitted with a 30mm cannon which only had 6 round mags.

Last I heard there were three tenders for the turret upgrade, Lockheed being one and BAE being another, I can't remember who the last one was.

BAE link including promotional video.

I think it's because of the upcoming EU ban on lead-based ammunition. Apparently, lead is not good for you if ingested, at any velocity.

And whilst I'm here, you're not a PC and Windows 7 wasn't your idea, live with it!!!
