from what i've heard america has decided against buying this weapon because it is not made in america. and the chinese have tryed to steal it once already.

Metal storm because it isnt enough if an EMP attack takes out communication aviation armor and transport.

iv heard their making it an attachment to rifles like those m203 grenade launchers. if the metal strom component fails you have an ordinary weapon as backup

OMG!!! This is fictonial but say MEC just made the metal storm their standard issue rifle-then the US could just use the EMP on them so that the electricsl triggers didnt work any longer no matter what! THen MECs Infantry would be defenceless(unless they jumped back to their good old G3s)

3GL is the product. Here is metal storm's page on it: Metal Storm - 3GL - 3 shot semi automatic modular grenade launcher. It would be interesting to see the range in muzzle velocity you get with the effective length of the barrel changing after each round.
