Clearly an oversight they should correct that immediately. Wikipedia says that the more tapering at the front of the stock, the better the gun works...

...or not. Shusssssh, just admire the pretty rifle

They probably had the same issues when guns stopped being commonly issued with wooden stocks. People like what they know.

I hate rails, they only get in the way and I think the weight saved by using plastic is made up for in rail metal. Soon enough they'll be putting rails on claymores

I could use a foregrip for aligning, and an ACOG for sighting. Slap em on!

It's nice, but the color scheme looks like legos. Bad brown.

attack of the rails!

Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends on what we think. What we think depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.

This stock if you must, IMO is better.

yeah, the socom 16 is the best stock for a M-14 carabine, but for a fullsized rifle, i'm not sure if i prefer the AI or the EBR stock

Socom16 isn't the stock it's a version of the M1A from Springfield Armory, the 16 refers to the 16inch barrel. I'm not sure who makes that stock, on that socom16. Anyone wanna ID it?
