The M16 series aren't that bad, the "Problem" with 'em is you have to clean them after almost everytime you got out (I think).
The real b*tch of the M16 and M4s if you can shoot someone three times in the chest and more, and they won't die, so you gota always make headshots, or right in the center near the heart. |

And yeah, sometimes you will survive multiple shots. Sometimes you are gone from one. And that exactly same problem would have been there with the XM-8 too. It uses the same bullets. That being said I still think that they should have stayed with the 7.62x51mm or started using 7.62x39mm. | |

possibly becuase compared with the Em-2: http://world.guns.ru/assault/as59-e.htm it was thoroughly out dated with a weapon designed 60 years ago.
It was going to fire a 7x43mm round but this was ofcourse ridiculously underpowered in the 1950s and ridiculously overpowered in the 1960s, therefore resulting in the creation of 2 far from perfect rounds, the 5.56by45 and 7.62by51. So why not continue the tradition of purchasing far from perfect rounds and weapons Mr creepinshadow24/7... |

1 Grab a SAW
2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag 3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW! 4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully! |

what the xm-8 melted in desert test where did it say that?
does any1 know what the army thinks about the mp7 pdw? I mean pilots shud get them ( I mean in pr) as well as the hat, it is wearable like a pistol so y not replace the 92 FS with a mp7 on the heavier kits + pilot ? The m468 is a mix of m4 and m16 that uses 6. Something rounds. Btw I love german weaponry just to let u guys know |

Ahh... NO. The M468 visibly looks exactly like any M16 type rifle, with the notable differences such as S.I.R. handguard, thicker barrel, gass tube, flip-up iron sights, and a modified lower receiver to accept the 6.8mm rounds (of course the inside is anotehr story). Only the red dot sight installed looks like the "killzone" rifle you are referring to and the red dot sight is not part of the weapon, it's a mounted accessory. If anything the handguard on the killzone rifle looks more like the one on the LR300.
