One i haven't come across before, all new to me. So i shall look into it further. Rather distinctive though.

I bet a-10 is more expensive to keep. Basically uses more fuel.
And looking at the price these things do seem to be quite a lot cheaper than a-10's.

but the last time i think we've seen a turbo-prob plane used effectively (outside of UAV's) were the A-1 Skyraider "Sandies" in Vietnam?

(We Were Soldiers = Good quick reference)
