![]() Some guy on another forum- "I'm an athiest so i don't believe in the apocalypse. The rest of you are ****ed." To deny all the qualities of a being is equivalent to denying the being itself. A being without qualities is one which cannot become an object of the mind, and such a being is virtually non-existent. |

Lol its not tankie!!! Thats a name reserved for those members of the 1st or 2nd Royal Tank Regiments'. I am a cavalry soldier, those who add style and panache to an otherwise dull affair.
Diesel got a low flash point but something hot enough would set it off. APFSDS probably wouldnt as theres no explosive content and it travels too fast. I once saw a caravan full of petrol have 5 APFSDS round put through it and it didnt go off but one HESH blew it to smitherines, Jeremy Clarkson would be proud! Either way TBH theres nothing on the rear of the tank that will suffer if they were to go up in flames. A few tail lights and some really heavy metal recovery kit. If you were unlucky enough to get any in the back decks it has to make its way through 3 giant fans blowing out the back before its anywhere near the engine, and then theres a fire extinguisher. |

Dont worry i wont be telling anyone anything you couldnt find out from reading a book. The last thing i want is somebody knowing something they shouldnt. Having people know an engine has fans to cool it is nothing new and even a bus has fire extinguishers.
