I meant if it is an addition that in most cases would be left in stores why would you choose it? Same as the sholder pads, I doubt anyone would choose to keep them on.

LOL im leaving cadets, its shit i was in SQF 1114, in Newcastle lol, i went to RAF Boulmer, and EVERYONE ther was up ther arses, Army Air Corps is way forward

and on topic, The pics you must of seen is when ther just wearing their webbing im gessing.

Those "shoulder pads" are Deltoid Protectors which youll find a number of American soldiers already wearing on their armour, useful little addition actually.

As for someones remark about fitting webbing over this vest, that isnt what its designed for, it has PALs webbing all over it, allowing you to attach various pouches to it, for instance, i own an FSBE at the moment with pouches with enough to carry 8 M14 magazines on the front, 4 pistol mags on the front, hydration carrier on the back and still have space left for any other pouches id need.
