That's pretty cool. A Military career has always interested me since I was about 12-13 yrs old. I live & breath all thing's Military. Now I'm 18, and my eyes aren't what they used to be, and I'm hesitant about contacting a recruiter, due to the fear of being rejected due to my vision. But I finish high school in June, so we'll see what the future brings. Armor has always been the focus point of my love for the Military. So I'm hoping my vision doesn't ruin my shot at a Military career.

Laser eye surgery can bugger up your eyesight without you even knowing it, something to do with the rods or cones getting damaged and screwing with your night vision, pretty handy for a life in the green skin.

Whoa, didn't know that. Although... I wasn't really being that serious :P but it's good to know I guess.

Just save up some money and get laser eye surgery. You'll never have to worry about it again. My neighbor had the WORST eyesight ever for the first 14 years of her life. She just got laser eye surgery, and supposedly now she will never have to worry about her vision for the rest of her life.

The thing you have to remember about laser eye surgery and the military is that they can't just overlook the word "surgery". Sure, technically you're not being cut open etc but your eye has been worked on and like all surgery, it can go wrong.

I AM NOT ALLOWED A SIG UNLESS I SHOW I CAN BEHAVE MYSELF
