I saw something that said such a plasma bubble would also block communication signals both ways, so you would be stealth but also deaf and mute.

No, the first link says they fixed that problem. Once Russia starts cranking these things out it could totally change the battlespace into WW1 style line of sight dogfighting. LOL

I missed that part. The Russians always come up with an easier, cheaper way of doing things that is just as good as western stuff.

And it would be bad for aircrafts with a lower maneuverability then Russia currently have.

I believe russians already have some "radar" system to detect those plasma shields as they are going to export this early models of this plasma device (Iran could use a few of them I believe).

Right, aircraft like the F-22, which sacrifices some maneuverability for its stealth abilities.

The russians used to come up with things, then give them english names, till they invented their on.

After all, they invented the lightbulb, the television, the radio, the automobile...........................

.......................when the wall fell and world news and education reached those in the former eastern blo, I bet they got a few surprises

I don't think my parents were tricked into thinking Russians did things they didn't. Hell I know for a fact their high school education alone probably tops any associate degree that's out there.

Anyways, those tricky Russians are on to something. Their jets can easily out fly and maneuver western jets and if we can't detect them that'll be terrifying. However, I'm 99% sure that we'll find a way around. We might find a way to detect the plasma or use another method to see these jets.

Thanks luizinhuu for the find

Ones definition of “high attitude” comes into play here too. If this device only works well at high attitude, how high is that? 40K 20K? Is this something that will only benefit high altitude planes like the Mig-21/35, Tu-160, and newer Su’s? Also, does this mean its not stealth on take off or while climbing?
I don’t doubt that it works but the details are going to be grey for sometime.

This technology works even on ground. 100kg Plasma generator can shield tanks, apcs, jeeps against radars. It works better when shielded object is not connected with ground as I suppose.
