Turkey's new MBT (revised thread)

This is Turkey's new generation MBT, which reminds me a little of the Leopard, the M1 and the Chally 2.

Now, this thread has been reposted on behalf of Turk_Komando. Pay attention to what I am about to say:
If ANYBODY derails this thread with politics, genocide, murder, war or anything not realting to this tank then I will close this thread and may warn the users responsible. Don't say I don't play fair.

I AM NOT ALLOWED A SIG UNLESS I SHOW I CAN BEHAVE MYSELF

I still say it reminds me more of the Israeli Merkava tank. It's a cool tank none the less, when you see it doesn't have all that ERA slapped on it, you know it can handle some damage as it's then got actual composite armour instead of that ERA crap.

Actually, the turret is like the Merkava but the Hull/Tank bit is like a Leo 2.

did some "research" and damn its hard to come by some valuable information ^^

these two are the best i could find:
http://www.niss.gov.ua/cacds/rese/1104a.html

and this one
http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5339

as far as i can tell they are either on planning on buying a new tank or making one themselves with the help of foreign companys (technology transfer and stuff) - or both ^^

turk_kommando, could you give us some more information, besides pictures?

lol
i think they look hardly if at all (besides the fact that both are tanks..) the same.
the turret, the body, the tracks everything is different - just look at the "body-turret ratio". the merkavas turret is huge compared to the rest, whereas the <whatever>s turret is very sleak and low-profile.
if at all, it looks like a russian tank, black eagle or random t-80 upgrade
