Apache attack helo video

Was surfing about and saw these apache videos and thought you guys might like to see them. The Longbow with the 3 million dollar dome is very impressive.

The American voice over man is a bit cheesy but so

The Longbow Fire Control Radar is impressive.
I used to play Jane's AH64-D Apache Longbow flight simulator.
It's pretty hectic tracking everything that's going on.

I was dissapointed when the US DoD discontinued the RAH-66 Commanche project.
It also used a Longbow system. It was a real babe, too. Beautiful.

BTW I think one video may be repeated there... the start appeared identical to the first one
in one of the others so I didn't watch it.

I still can't get longbow 2 to work on XP even though I have heard it is possible. Enemy Engaged Apache vs Hokum is my heli pilot sim of choice and like Sandy said cycling through all the radar targets on an 8km wideband radar is one hell of a chore particularly when an SA19 could be hidden in the clutter only 100m from your nose

FTW!

You know, that's the first ever appropriate use I have seen for that
Motorhead song.

Could you find the full segment as far as I remember they said he would have got shot many times if the pilot was actually allowed to pull the trigger.

Here's one with nostalgic Airwolf music

There even more amazing up close I should know.

The biggest problem is the TADS/PNVs systems, they have never been revamped until just now. And most of the aircraft are now fitted with newer systems. The nose of a longbow could be the same one that roled off the line 20 years ago.

To fix the typo, just edit your first post and click "Go Advanced". Then correct the title of that post.

.

Under normal circumstances, everybody pwns Griffon, in Soviet Russia, Griffon pwns EVERYBODY!
