China....
http://world.guns.ru/assault/as79-e.htm
Chinese reverse engineering at its worst... How could they do this and copy one of the longest service worthy guns, they already have their own copied AK so now they take the US's M-16... I'm ticked off... If I posted in the wrong section feel free to move it. Oh by the way maybe this could be Chinas new engineers Personal Defence Weapon? http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg74-e.htm |

I support the fact that China is doing this. What's wrong with that, is there any copyright law saying they couldn't? And the SMG is being taken out in PRMM 0.4, so there's no point in asking. I also like the Type 03, should be better than what they have for Type 95 right now.
And the M311-1 is not used by the PLA, it is being sold. The PLA still prefers Russian design weapons. Why? Gee, I don't know. |

I guess I'm just a mini-capitalist who wants the makers of the weapon to earn the money they so rightly deserve for making things that can withstand so much. | |

Those chinese excuses for m-16 are probably crap quality wise. My cousin was telling me how if you get an AK that there are many levels of quality depending on the nation that manufactured it with Russia generally having the highest quality and China having poor quality. If those guns are only for sale and the PLA won't even touch them I don't think I'm going too far in assuming that they aren't machined with the care Colt gives to it's guns.
That pdw reminds me of the Russian Bison: http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg08-e.htm |

No, lonelyjew, you're wrong. The Middle East has the worst quality, along with some former Soviet satellite states. And the M311 is based off the M16A1. The M311 carbine would probably be better though, as it is based off the M4A1.
