Obama calls for civilian national security force, bigger than armed forces.

Obama's 'Big Brother' vanishes from speech

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
The snitch force of the USA.

Why would a "snitch force" need to be well-funded? How could it possibly be anywhere near as strong/powerful?

This sounds like militias to me.

The American version of the Stasi. Something like that would be well funded, strong and powerful, no?

Not really, Stasi wasn't really a civilian force, it was a government agency.

As a guy in another forums said: Wonder which color shirts they will be wearing, black or brown?

Seriously, the things Obama are saying are scaring the hell out of me.

Yeah I hear that! I'm starting to get a little worried.

But the comment "cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set" make me think, hey we have a National guard....thats....over seas, So uh, where is our Nation Guard? That the only thing i could get out of his comment that doesn't sound crazy.

Isn't the national guard controlled by state rather than federal govt though?

Stupid things like this will probably cost him his candidacy. Why would Obama say something like this? Doesn't he have input from at least a few people when he writes these speeches?

"If you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains..."
