Four British soldiers killed in Afghanistan, one wounded.
I just read that three reserve members of the British special forces were killed in an explosion yesterday, one female soldier from the Intelligence Corps also died. She is the first serving woman of the British Army to be killed in Afghanistan.

I really hate when people think or say afghanistan is a "lesser conflict" than Iraq. I read so many stories of UK and Canadian forces in some absolutely crazy battles in A-stan. Rough fighting in a rough terrain against rough opponents. Good luck to all Nato forces there, your fighting for a good cause. |
