Myanmar Crisis
Truly sad situation.
Myanmar's cyclone | The regime is satisfied | Economist.com So many victims so little aid. It's extremely heartbreaking when few men decides the fate of many for their own political interest. Also: New storm to hamper aid effort in Myanmar: Red Cross | U.S. | Reuters Another possible storm on the horizon, may nature be gentle. |

Re: Myanmar Crisis
The worst part is that people are dying because the country's leaders consider us as 'infidels'

Re: Myanmar Crisis
its amazing to see the contrasts between the governments of Myanmar and China in response to their disasters.
both are totalitarian dictatorships but the Chinese are blasting 24hr media coverage, accepting international aid, delivering thousands of tonnes of supplies to the affected areas and mobilising the entire country for relief efforts... while Myanmar's generals seem more concerned about elections that will give them even more dictatorial powers... |
