I am John Doe

Dear Muslim Terrorist Plotter/Planner/Funder/Enabler/Apologist,

You do not know me. But I am on the lookout for you. You are my enemy. And I am yours.

I am John Doe.

I am traveling on your plane. I am riding on your train. I am at your bus stop. I am on your street. I am in your subway car. I am on your lift.

I am your neighbor. I am your customer. I am your classmate. I am your boss.

I am John Doe.

I will never forget the example of the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 who refused to sit back on 9/11 and let themselves be murdered in the name of Islam without a fight.

I will never forget the passengers and crew members who tackled al Qaeda shoe-bomber Richard Reid on American Airlines Flight 63 before he had a chance to blow up the plane over the Atlantic Ocean.

I will never forget the alertness of actor James Woods, who notified a stewardess that several Arab men sitting in his first-class cabin on an August 2001 flight were behaving strangely. The men turned out to be 9/11 hijackers on a test run.

I will act when homeland security officials ask me to "report suspicious activity."

I will embrace my local police department's admonition: "If you see something, say something."

I am John Doe.

I will protest your Jew-hating, America-bashing "scholars."

I will petition against your hate-mongering mosque leaders.

I will raise my voice against your subjugation of women and religious minorities.

I will challenge your attempts to indoctrinate my children in our schools.

I will combat your violent propaganda on the Internet.

I am John Doe.

I will support law enforcement initiatives to spy on your operatives, cut off your funding and disrupt your murderous conspiracies.

I will oppose all attempts to undermine our borders and immigration laws.

I will resist the imposition of sharia principles and sharia law in my taxi cab, my restaurant, my community pool, the halls of Congress, our national monuments, the radio and television airwaves, and all public spaces.

I will not be censored in the name of tolerance.

I will not be cowed by your Beltway lobbying groups in moderates' clothing. I will not cringe when you shriek about "profiling" or "Islamophobia."

I will put my family's safety above sensitivity. I will put my country above multiculturalism.

I will not submit to your will. I will not be intimidated.

I am John Doe.

This was in the NY Post today in response to CAIR and this lawsuit....

House Republicans today surprised Democrats with a procedural vote to protect public-transportation passengers from being sued if they report suspicious activity -- the first step by lawmakers to protect "John Doe" airline travelers already targeted in a lawsuit by Muslim imams that charges profiling.
The introduction of a motion to recommit the Rail and Public Transportation Security Act of 2007 back to committee with instructions to add the protective language was introduced by Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Mr. King says all Americans, airline passengers included, must be protected from lawsuits if they report suspicious behavior that may foreshadow a terrorist attack.

...The language is based on a bill introduced last week by Rep. Steve Pearce, New Mexico Republican, to protect "John Does," or passengers targeted in the suit filed by six Muslim imams earlier this month in Minneapolis.

We are allowed to protect ourselves ....for the moment.

I don't know. You can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theatre when there isn't one, but that doesn't stop people from reporting fires. I think that if there is no reason to suspect someone is a terrorist other than he has a turban and prays toward Mecca, but you report him anyways, you should be sued.

Don't try and tell me if you saw a guy with a turban get down on their knees and start praying towards mecca while in flight that you wouldn't get a LITTLE nervous lol, it would at the very least conjour up thoughts.

Indeed, a Sikh praying towards Makka on plane would make me a little bit worried

Those people didn't die in the name of Islam. They died in the name of a bunch of sick ****s who use a religion as an excuse for their acts of terrorism. Don't blame this on the common Muslim.

No more than I'm nervous around a white kid in a cafeteria. They have set times they have to pray, and if they're devout, they do it. I've seen this happen on planes myself many times.

I'm going to board a plane to the US in a couple of hours, and I honestly don't give a **** about who's going onboard with me.

If it happens, it happens. I'm not going to let paranoia make me enjoy the flight less (I'm going to try to get some sleep anyway ), and I'm not going to let it cloud the way I see other human beings.

“Dear Muslim Terrorist Plotter/Planner/Funder/Enabler/Apologist,”

Putting ‘Muslim’ in here is pretty bigoted.

“I am traveling on your plane. I am riding on your train. I am at your bus stop. I am on your street. I am in your subway car. I am on your lift. I am your neighbor. I am your customer. I am your classmate. I am your boss.”

I am under your bed. Once things descend to the level of reds under beds the cure on the culture can be worse than the disease. The ‘I am your boss’ at the end is both arrogant and stupid.

“I will never forget the example of the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 who refused to sit back on 9/11 and let themselves be murdered in the name of Islam without a fight.”

In the name of Islam? Killing someone in the name of God has been done countless times in the past and will be in the future. There are some inherently peaceful religions (eg. Buddhism) but historically Christianity is not among them and bibles have been happily quoted and waved around as examples of divine example to do great evils.

“I will never forget the passengers and crew members who tackled al Qaeda shoe-bomber Richard Reid on American Airlines Flight 63 before he had a chance to blow up the plane over the Atlantic Ocean. I will never forget the alertness of actor James Woods, who notified a stewardess that several Arab men sitting in his first-class cabin on an August 2001 flight were behaving strangely. The men turned out to be 9/11 hijackers on a test run.”

You should never forget who the hijackers were and where they came from, nor the fact that while the poor families of terror suspects will be interrogated the extended family of Osama were given VIP flights out of the US.

"I will act when homeland security officials ask me to "report suspicious activity."
I will embrace my local police department's admonition: "If you see something, say something."

Good idea, but should this not always be done/have been done?

"I will protest your Jew-hating, America-bashing "scholars."

How did ‘America’ and ‘Jew’ come to be in the same sentence? At what point in history were these two things melded together? By whom and for whose benefit and to what overall effect?

“I will petition against your hate-mongering mosque leaders.”

Don’t petition, do something about it, we did/are here in Australia. This, however, is not really a problem in the US, it is (was?) a HUGE problem in the UK however.

“I will raise my voice against your subjugation of women and religious minorities.”

Woman often do not see themselves as subjugated. This is a peculiar aspect of the female psyche. For example the suffragette movement to get woman the vote in the west was opposed vehemently by many woman themselves. As for religious persecution Islam itself does not appear to be any more feral in this respect compared to Christianity, except different levels of tolerance/intolerance manifest in different countries.

“I will challenge your attempts to indoctrinate my children in our schools.”

I find this wording extremely odd and troubling. Indoctrinate MY children in OUR schools? Who is this aimed at? Who wrote this?

“I will combat your violent propaganda on the Internet.”

I see propaganda from both sides, Mission Accomplished, terrorist heads blown open, random shootings at Iraqi cars. One side is designed to pull others into the fight, the other to convince that the fight is worthy and being waged well.

“I will support law enforcement initiatives to spy on your operatives, cut off your funding and disrupt your murderous conspiracies.”

Great, as long as it’s done properly and is not a beat up over nothing.

“I will oppose all attempts to undermine our borders and immigration laws.”

When I lived in the US someone explained to me the meaning of the term ‘Wetback’. It seems obvious that this problem is a two way street, people ignore illegal activities because it profits them, creating a black market labour economy that is both simultaneously complained about and overlooked because of its value added impact. The US seriously needs to get its head straight as a people on this and stop dancing on both sides of the blade at once.

“I will resist the imposition of sharia principles and sharia law in my taxi cab, my restaurant, my community pool, the halls of Congress, our national monuments, the radio and television airwaves, and all public spaces.”

Separation of church and state is probably a good idea overall.

“I will not be censored in the name of tolerance.”

This is a two edged sword, because shooting your mouth of can serve either evil or good ends, as can remaining silent.

“I will not be cowed by your Beltway lobbying groups in moderates' clothing. I will not cringe when you shriek about "profiling" or "Islamophobia."”

Give up on the idea of the right to vote, its far more important than that. Make it a responsibility; impose a fine of $50 US dollars on any citizen who fails to vote in his state or federal election without a medical exemption or deposition of reasonable inability to vote. Rise above the myopic lobby group from any camp and become a society.

"I will put my family's safety above sensitivity."

These are wise words.

"I will put my country above multiculturalism."

The US is NOT an indigenous culture a thousand years old. “Give me your poor huddled masses”, remember? The US is multicultural, like it or not, and was settled from many countries over the planet, not everyone is a corn fed cowboy. “Ask not what your country can do for you, rather ask what you can do for your country.” A country is nothing but its people.

"I will not submit to your will. I will not be intimidated."

Good for you, follow your laws, your heart and the common good of your people.

Misdirection and Obfuscation

Putting ‘Muslim’ in here is pretty bigoted
Is it ?
Can you tell me another group that has killed over 3000 Americans with terrorist acts ?
That is what this line is about : I will not be censored in the name of tolerance

In the name of Islam? Killing someone in the name of God has been done countless times in the past and will be in the future. There are some inherently peaceful religions (eg. Buddhism) but historically Christianity is not among them and bibles have been happily quoted and waved around as examples of divine example to do great evils.

Misdirection
Yes, in the name of Islam. Would you like the links to some vids of people chanting God is Great while they kill others ?
The terrorist do not represent all of Islam but they are Muslims and this is their jihad so whatever the Crusaders or the Dali Lama or Stern Gang have done in the past has no bearing on the fact that Muslims are strapping bombs to themselves and killing civilians.

You should never forget who the hijackers were and where they came from, nor the fact that while the poor families of terror suspects will be interrogated the extended family of Osama were given VIP flights out of the US.
Pointless misdirection

How did ‘America’ and ‘Jew’ come to be in the same sentence? At what point in history were these two things melded together? By whom and for whose benefit and to what overall effect?
More pointless misdirection, but the main targets of hate spewing imams is America and Jews .....so that is how it is melded.

You missed the point entirely. It's not about "corn fed cowboys" but not stopping Arab men between 18-40 because it would be offensive even though that's the group that routinely kills themselves and others in the name of their god. Instead we search 80yo grandmothers because they won't sue for discrimination.

The group CAIR filed a lawsuit, because they want to intimidate people by using the multicultural police to silence anyone who dares question a Muslim.
Muslim in America are free to worship as they please and if they would like to see discrimination reduced then perhaps we could see some marches and protest against the way the Koran is being used.
I am not in any way condoning racist behavior toward anyone but certain groups are more likely so be suicide bombers than others and yelling fire in a crowded theater should result in a thorough ass whooping.
