'That' Iraq waters GPS pic
![]() It could be where they say it is, the GPS spoofing tool that confuses GPS units could have been on, but this is the pic that should make the Iranian military/government bow their heads in shame |

Very nice pic but what proof is this? We know where the helicopter and the ship is but where are the other boats that the Booties and the Matelots were in?

The ship can be IDed from that section to other pics. Is taking pics of your GPS standard procedure? I find it kind of odd.
If you look at that position on a map, it is sort of across a midline of the waterway that forms the border. They were only over a mile outside the waters. Pretty close. |

Iranians wouldn't know their own water if it bit them on the nose!

Creating a Photoshop doctored image of the original making it seem like the GPS is showing the distance and direction to Iran was a REALY BAD IDEA.

No one is suggesting that the GPS proof was a hoax. I took down the image, because the last thing I want is people getting that idea.
It's blatantly clear that the Iranians know what they are doing, and they know full well that the ship and the British personnel were well inside of Iraqi waters. This whole affair is evidently some form of state sanctioned kidnapping. What is not clear is quite what the Iranian's motive might be. The whole thing is just a nightmare, because the Iranians clearly couldn't care less about dipplomacy and the UN is being completely useless. What can we possibly do to get those people out of there? |

Although the faked pic showed a really huge distance to Iran it happened 1.7NM from the boarder, which is walking distance, not hundreds of miles. | |
