Great report this. It is DOGged CNN, but is an ITN transmission. Shows a firefight in Afghanistan between the Royal Marines and the Taliban. Looks remarkably like a certain PR map.

Great video becuase it shows many features, tactics that should be in PR, whether or not they can be implamented.

Note random cool things:

- slower relode time on SA80, as they strugle to grab mag from pouch
- Use of GPM at bi-pod (or whatever you call it) resting against wall
- MInimi with SUSAT - works if you got massive "maps" and "drawdistances"
- Use of bloody damn mortars - the thing every one but me seems to wnat, dont mind really.
- USe of FIRETEAMS and fire and manourvour tactics - LOVIN IT (sort of..)
- Not a single soldier not wearing his helmet !

That is just a few, but you get the idea.

Well yea, but that battle lasted 2 hours..they last like 20-30 mins in a game, plus, much more kills than 4 Talibans...

That's because it's REAL....

During an O Group or QBOs, we usually don't have to say "The PR crew are watching, so don't do anything the BF2 engine can't do....and if you get shot, don't forget you can only shout 'Medic!' twice".

lol, but for most of us, we never get the chance to be in an/ take part in (whatever) "an O Group or QBOs" and therefore, we really dont know what war is actualy like and these videos give us one of the closest "tasters" we can get from the comfort of our homes!

Help dispell certain civilian myths about modern war, therefore make life for soldiers when they come home, amung civilians easier in certain ways.

	1 Grab a SAW 2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag 3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW! 4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully!
