Regrets bringing down Saddam
It seems that the US is running low on friends these days. Even the people who suffered most under Saddams regime would prefer his dictatorship over the US occupation:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,2037219,00.html Everything that the anti-war protesters said back in 2003 has come true ...just worse! |

From your posted article:
According to an opinion poll of 5,000 Iraqis carried out over the past month, 49% say they are better off now than under Saddam, and 26% say life was better under Saddam. Do I interpret simple English differently or something? Almost double prefer life without Sadam... |

Never rely on polls. They're always biased.

They don’t have to be biased, but in his case how could you possibly have any kind of a meaningful poll? If I had to list all the possible ways polls would not work in Iraq I would overflow this message buffer.

Lol. Sure no doubt. My point was still that Makhno opened a post with an article that refuted the title. Very strange.

Well, he didn't say *who* regrets it. It could have been "that 25%", or "Antarctic penguins". We'll never know.

I believe that he's just trigger-happy on it, and it backfired on him. I believe he has defined Auto-Pwnage.

A poll shows the statistics, which are the facts, and of course you are gonna be biased towards your own country...to be quite honest I don't think biased comes into this because it involves all and ONLY Iraqian's (sorry for the use of this incorrect word) voting, not Americans and Iraqians, where the Americas would be biasest to say that it is better now and vis versa etc...
