3 Gulf states agree to IAF overflights en route to Iran

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/830309.html

"Three Arab states in the Persian Gulf would be willing to allow the Israel Air force to enter their airspace in order to reach Iran in case of an attack on its nuclear facilities, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyasa reported on Sunday."

The road to Iran is open.

Wow, thats... thats crazy. I mean that should be a clear message to Iran that no one on the block wants to see them with nukes. I mean allowing Israel to fly through Arab airspace to attack another Arab nation. They don't even consider Israel to be a legal nation so thats saying a lot.

Why do you think Vice Prez Cheney is flying around the world? You think he does not have enough hands to shake in Washington or he cant use a phone to talk to people? Compared to Iraq a strike on Iran is an even bigger deal, you don’t just pick up a phone and chat to a leader about it, you go and speak to the heads of nations mano-a-mano, and give them hard words about what you intend to do, it’s a good deal beyond the message in a bottle stage now.

Amazing how people who's justice system includes routine mutilation respond to an extended show of force.
Just cultural idiosyncratic items.

Ehm, I think that he meant Iran, not the US

And actually, there's a lot of dislike between Iran and the rest of the Gulf. Except when the US butts in...
