How to win in Al Anbar
A little sort of goofy primitive stop action video dedicated to a fallen warrior.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbfO3LV0FhI&eurl= It's this lack of undersanding and preparing for the culture of Iraq that has to be investigated and changed. While simplistic the video makes perfect sense and it doesn't seem like it would have been too hard to gain this sort of information prior to the invasion. This seems like the place to post this as well : Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; Why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies Don't spend more than you can earn and Reliable strategies Adults, not Children, are in charge. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 -year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; Teens suspended from school for using mouth wash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as The Ten Commandments became contraband; Churches became businesses; and Criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when You couldn't defend yourself from a Burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by His parents, Truth and Trust; His wife, Discretion; His daughter, Responsibility; and His son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If You still remember him, pass this on. If not , join the majority and do nothing. |

get this...in Canada common sense has been executed...
Point 1: "A child over the age of 3 is forbidden to sleep in the same room as a parent of the opposite sex" guilty before proven innocnet..most fathers are pedophiles and jump at the chance to molest their daughters..same goes for mothers... this is a real illness.. and one of the main reasons i can no longer live in canada or north america in general..really this blew me away when my best friend informed me of it... In japan many young families still share the same bedroom...thats right everyone sleeping in the same room...sounds wicked? dirty? results: in the 7 years i have spent in japan i have never felt safer or more secure. No danger of robbery or being shot...community is still thriving (although admitidly losing ground in the cities) Point 2: The working poor and living above your means this is another classic western sickness and symtomatic of the death of common sense... living off the credit card, most japanese young people i know have $5000 or so dollars US in the bank and consider themselves dirt poor...if most of my canadian friends had an extra 5 grand they wopuld promptly spend it one something they didnt need...new car/ubber TV etc...most canadians are working poor and live off of their credit...my parents spend as soon as they get any money..and then wonder how they can make monthly payments. KILL YOUR TELEVISION...you dont need it..i havent had one for 3 years and im fine and in fact much more productive...you wouldnt believe the number of new things you can learn when not watching the visual crackwhore (tv) i finish my political commentary on "common sense" here...this pisses me off anyway so... |

It rolled in it's grave when the creator of the electric slide used DMCA to sue people for doing it.

Bloody hell, up to the age of 12, me and my younger brother slept in the same big bed as my parents (it's huge, plenty of space for everyone), would that make them pedophiles? I miss Common Sense, he was nice
