Troop Surge Being Put to Work
So the surge was mainly supposed to hunt down and destroy the Mahdi Militia, led by Muqtada Al Sadr, a radical shiite, who is supposed to be responsible for most of the violence in Baghdad. Didn't think they'd be at work already!

This video is from last year not what is going on now but still a good video

I was suspicious of that, but I saw it on military.com, youtube.com, and liveleak.com and they all said it was the fight against the mahdi army and uploaded recently.

yup it is the mahdi army,and I have seen all those site posting some old stuff and saying it's new lately
