"America’s Holy Warriors"

Intersting article about the danger of having a politicization of the military and law inforcement in America, and this by the radical Christian right.

Quote:
The former New York Times Mideast Bureau chief warns that the radical Christian right is coming dangerously close to its goal of co-opting the country’s military and law enforcement.

Sorry if you misread, "radical Christian right" who relate as much to good Christians as extreme islamists do to Islam.

And seriously you call that "bashing" ? Try being of islamic ( or pretty much any other faith ) and watch Fox News a bit ( or read Washington times ) and you'll have a proper definition of the term served on a platter.

And I don't see how articles which delve on the topic of a proper seperation of church and state and the dangers in leaving both mix. Consist in a "bashing". Unless you consider the American Constitution and the founding fathers as "faith bashers" (mayhap a follow up movie title to 'Ghost Busters' )

(btw I'm agnostic, meaning either way I really don't care )

Abscence of faith doesn't necessarly end up giving nihilism. As most nihilists are in rejection to faiths dogmas rather then the philosophy behind it.
