Yep I was looking at that list. What I mean was: How do I pronounce those lines. Like the US Soldiers do in BF2 with the voice going up, shouting-not shouting. Or shall I give those lines my own spinn.

Yea. That was what I was hopin for. Just like: Enemy armoured vehicle sighted would be: Armoured vehicle incoming! or just: Enemy armour!

Ok looking forward to the sound files, i discussed it with AfterDune shortly and we figured your voice as the grunt (squad Member) voice so concentrate on those.

Try to record voices in .ogg format and high quality as described in the tutorial. and use the proper filename as displayed in the spreadsheet.

Yep I figured that out as well. Well! I first wanted to put some of those lines on here to see if you think I acted right. After that Ill concentrate on quality and filesize en extension and stuff.

To help us translate the 1:1 conversion from english I posted the following on our dutch military hyves. Ill let you guys know if I get a reaction:

Hey iedereen,

ik speel Project Reality (een Battlefield 2 modificatie wat het heel realistisch maakt) en op die site is een groep Nederlandse mensen bezig een Nederlandse mini-mod te maken. Op die manier is de Nederlandse Strijdkracht ook vertegenwoordigd. Zie dit niet als: Oh vet nu kan ik met Nederlandse wapens spelen! Maar meer als een soort eerbetoon.

Nou ga ik de stemmen inspreken van de soldaat (er is ook nog bevelhebber en peletonleider) en heb dus een lijst gekregen van zinnen.

Deze zinnen zijn alleen direct vertaald uit het Engels en bevatten naar onze mening termen die de Nederlandse Soldaat niet gebruikt.

Zou iemand ons kunnen helpen met het invoegen van militair jargon?

Het zou dan gaan om dit soort zinnen vermilitairen:

We hebben hier een monteur nodig! (origineel: We need an engineer here!)

Ik ben door m'n kogels heen
(origineel: Im dry, reloading)

Vijandelijk pantservoertuig in zicht!
(origineel: Enemy armour spotted)

We hebben een hospik nodig!
(we need a medic here)

Vooral die laatste ben ik benieuwd naar. Hoe zeggen jullie dit terwijl je op oefening bent? Of misschien zitten hier mensen die dit jammerlijk genoeg in het echt hebben meegemaakt?

In ieder geval bedankt als er iemand naar wilt kijken! En alvast excuus als dit niet toegestaan is.

Record to .wav if you can. Large filesize, but best quality. We'll convert to .ogg afterwards.

Cyber, you can send the link to the Google document along, so they get an idea of the sentences.
