[TASK] Map - 09:11 Zulu
![]() Map idea after the true story of Viktor Franke At 09:11 Zulu time a Dutch Commando convoy gets ambused after a IED blows up a bridge when they were on their way back from raiding a suspected IED factory. The map shown above is the location where it all took place. The Dutch didnt get any air support from Kandahar based F-16's and Kamp Holland based Apache's (wasnt needed) the did get a show of force low level fly by from an American B-1 Bomber to scare the shit out of the Taliban. so in our level no aircraft are needed, vehicles that are needed are Taliban technicals, jeeps and APC's on Dutch side. We need to figuree out how to balance the map since the Dutch outgun the Taliban with a APC's. If possible give the taliban a position advantage, with they also had in the real battle. Actual footage below:

Yeah according to the documentary i have on dvd there are some American SF's who stay on the Dutch base, who tag along on Dutch patrols from time to time to interrogate suspects.

Patria doesnt necesaraly outgun the taliban and since i saw the report and only saw the G-wagons and patria's.

It does outgun a taliban technical, because it armoured and the technical isnt.
Have you seen the whole report? i bought the dvd and also have the complete 15 minute firefight aswell as other scenes you didnt see when i was broadcasted on tv like the interrogation by the US SF of the suspect IED facilitator. |

i saw the downgraded TV version but it did give a very good impression however.
however, How are you going to make this work glimy? caus the idea is nice but what is it going to do? |

This map will work best as AASv2 basicly, putting the Dutch faction on one spawnpoint and make them fight their way back to Kamp Holland (Tarin Kowt).
