Its not a bug, its done on purpose by whoever made it. Answer: to improve texture quality.

On a 1024x1024 (I guess) texture map for it, it would be dumb for the original creator to have two identical sides on there that would just waste space, instead the two sides are overlayed to make sure all other stuff can have bigger surface area on that map = improving quality.

Exactly. If there's going to be text on it, we'll use letters like T, I, O, X, M, H, A, W, V, U, Y, 8, 0.

I noticed in the Kashan trainer map that the F-16 now has Laser guided bombs, perhaps the code form that can be used for our own F-16
