Pilot is german for pilot

As i said, i doubt changing the command rose class names is possible at all.

What about have it "the german name"/ "english name"?

example: Sanitäter/Medic

I dont see the point in it. Why would one out of... dunno how many factions now suddently have their class names in a different language? Someone would have to do the same for MEC, PLA, Militia, Insurgents (and especialy there its difficult to tell the difference between the classes if you're not expirienced) and the other community mods, or it would just look strange that only one faction has this.

Re: Class name based on faction's language

The idea ain't bad although it's understandeable that doing this can make it a bit harder to know what the different kits have.

Well... all new players have to read the PR help guide before playing... If such change of kit names take place not just with a german faction but also with the other ones, then why not adding a comparison list in the Help book between the different kit names?
You know... just a simple list with all the corresponding names from the different factions. Build up in a way you can easily know what is that kit equivalent to the US Army/UK Army (Which all of us are used to).

Anyway it'd be indeed a bit of trouble doing all this. But the idea ain't bad.

This is not a good idea.

It's nice to see you guys are being patriotic, but just look at it from a normal non-german player's perspective.
What will it bring? Nothing but confusion. It might be acceptable for the standard kits, but definitely not for the requestable ones. Seriously, I don't remember their positions in the list and there are no other icons as a hint.

Ah, and I just can't imagine the battle situation. "Hey, dude a, could you grab Scha..Schu..Schuts just take the rifleman!"

We could also do the same to all the other factions. Militia in Russian, MEC in Arabic (!) and PLA in Chinese (!).

Ah and the argument that German is not hard to learn is, well, way off...
Seriously, I'm not going to learn a language just to know what kit I'm trying to use

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

I suck at photoshoping I know.
That's my Idea of how to deal with it. And for those "non-german" speaking ppl, do you see those red circles? yes? Ok i replaced the american captain for german Feldwebel insignia.
But its really not that difficult. And for those "china needs it also!11 and arabia also!111"
See: British Medic = Combat Medic
American medic= Corpsman
British Engineer= Combat Engineer
American Engineer= Engineer (ya rly.)

Why not just let the requestable kits keep their English designations, while the unlimited kits gets translated to the factions language?

That sounds like the best option. I second it.
